Life's thrown a few things my way over the last few days so I haven't been able to shoot, but I'm stoked to get back at it. Even though the province has started to 'open up' again and #isolationcreation is sort of wrapping up, I am still feeling called to make work in the way I've been making it over the past couple of months. I'll figure out what that looks like for me and my studio business over the next wee while. Thank you so much for following along on this journey with me.

For now, here's a self portrait from the archives. One of the themes that has always fascinated me and informed my work (solo creative work as well as the work I do with clients) is the coexistence of strength+softness, of power+vulnerability. This theme is very important to me; I've been thinking about it a lot during the pandemic and it's what I was thinking about when I made this picture last year, too, so I thought I'd share it here again. I'm curious to hear whether this theme is something that comes up in your life.
